Collagen is a protein that is part of cartilage, bone, and other tissues in animals.  Collagen from chickens is used to help with joint pain by causing the body to produce substances that fight inflammation and pain. It also contains chondroitin and glucosamine, two compounds that help rebuild cartilage.

Chicken Collagen is used in health supplements today to help with joint discomfort and cartilage health.
