Iron is a mineral needed for red blood cell formation in a form that is easy to assimilate.*
Iron is needed for healthy hemoglobin in red blood cells for oxygen and carbon dioxide transport. Iron, as ferrous bisglycinate chelate is more easily assimilated than ferrous sulfate and is better tolerated.*
